Several companies in Castilla-La Mancha have established themselves as suppliers of materials and services for the development of the energy transition. Its activity has served to promote development and job creation in rural areas.

Iberdrola, a world-leading company in renewable energies, is committed to its alliance with local suppliers with the aim of moving towards the decarbonization of the planet. This commitment entails economic growth and job creation in the areas where it is established.

Globally, Iberdrola allocates more than 12,000 million euros in purchases to its more than 19,000 suppliers. Among them, those that enable the generation of this ‘green energy’ generated by the company stand out, such as Eiffage, BOPistas, from Albacete, which builds the plants; Electria, from Socuéllamos, for substations; Cameto, in Tomelloso, as a supplier of metal structures for the Almaraz photovoltaic plant (Cáceres); Garoc, also from Ciudad Real, dedicated to high tension lines; Kapital, in Puertollano, or firms such as Fammsa, in Los Yébenes (Toledo), dedicated to high voltage line towers for the Alcarria photovoltaic project in Guadalajara.
